Wicker Dishcloth
Here is another one of our popular fun to knit dishcloths. This one reminded me of a wicker basket. This pattern is easy to remember and quick to knit.
Supplies:
US #7 (4.5mm) straight knitting needles
Worsted weight 100% Cotton Yarn
Yarn Needle
Abbreviations:
K - Knit
P - Purl
sts. - Stitches
Pattern:
Cast on 39 sts.
Rows 1-4: Knit
Row 5: K3, (P1, K1) repeat to the last 4 sts, P1, K3
Row 6: K3, (K1, P1) repeat to the last 4 sts, K4
Row 7: K3, P to the last 3 sts, K3
Row 8: Knit
Row 9: K3, (K1, P1) repeat to the last 4 sts, K4
Row 10: K3, (P1, K1) repeat to the last 4 sts, P1, K3
Row 11: K3, P to the last 3 sts, K3
Row 12: Knit
Rows 13-44: Repeat rows 5-12 four more times
Row 45: K3, (P1, K1) repeat to the last 4 sts, P1, K3
Row 46: K3, (K1, P1) repeat to the last 4 sts, K4
Rows 47-49: Knit
Bind off
Finishing:
Weave in ends and enjoy!
