World's Collide Headband Free Knit Pattern

It’s no secret that usually you’ll catch me always dressed in some form of black and grey. I also have a great love for anything bright, neon and colorful. This headband was inspired by Wednesday and Enid from the Wednesday series and truly feels like my personality in yarn form. This extra wide headband is knit in the round resulting in a seamless, double thick, extra warm headband.

Supplies:

US 8 (5.0mm) circular or double pointed needles

Stitch Marker

Yarn needle

For this headband I used worsted weight yarn (mostly Red Heart) from my stash.

For the neutral side I used a black, grey, light grey and white.

For the rainbow side I used purple, blue, mint, lime green, peach, hot pink, mauve, pastel pink.

Get creative with your colors, you could choose to use more or less of a variety then I did.

Pattern Notes:

Headband is knit in the round. Ends are sewn together in a way to give a twisted look. Finished headband is 6 inches wide x 10 1/2 long. Width can be adjusted by casting on less stitches for a narrower band or more stitches for a wider band. Headband sized to fit an average adult.

Pattern:

Cast on 45 stitches in Black join in the round taking care not to twist your stitches and place stitch marker.
